Emil is a master’s student researching sharks from the middle Cretaceous of Australia. 100 million years ago, the vast Eromanga Seaway covered much of the Australian continent and hosted a diverse community of marine fauna, including sharks preserved through an extensive fossil record of their teeth. Come along to learn what sharks can tell us about Australia’s past and volunteer opportunities to pick vertebrate microfossils.
Emil will present their seminar live in EM2 and online in Gathertown.
